WHY 123 FRUITY ABC?

123 Fruity ABC is based on simple early learning techniques which include the supervision and participation of an adult to guide and enhance learning through encouragement and reward with healthy snacks of fruit and vegetables.

Free ‘Flash card’ style videos for every letter of the alphabet directly linked from this 123FruityABC.com website, or accessible directly at YouTube.com/123FruityABC.

The individual letter videos make it very simple to create a format your child is comfortable with. Make your own playlist of selected letters you wish to work with and develop in to meaningful play, as well as encourage awareness of fresh fruit and vegetables, in a healthy eating regime.

Healthy eating is part of the Education system Early Years Foundation Stage, providing a framework for parents and carers, childminders and nurseries, playgroups and schools to consistently provide a level standard across the fundamental activities of the very young.

You can read more in our early learning section about the Early Years Foundation Stage and Healthy eating, personal hygiene, exercise and staying safe.

These appear in the Department for Education Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which sets the standard for learning, development and care for children from birth to five, and became effective on 3rd April 2017. The 123FruityABC learning modules are modelled on and reflect these standards.
